LA VALLETTA (MALTA) (ITALPRESS/MNA) – The leader of the Maltese Nationalist Party (PN), Bernard Grech, has urged the government to take “a firm stance” on the issue of the tariffs announced by US President Donald Trump. According to the Times of Malta, the leader of the opposition force called on the government to defend consumers and the national industry. The tariffs, he added, are “a step backwards for everyone”.
