There was increased activity at RAF Lakenheath in Suffolk today amid growing tension between Israel and Iran. F-15 Strike Eagles from the 494th Fighter Squadron shot down more than 70 Iranian drones on April 13. The world is waiting to see how Israel responds to an attack from Iran over the weekend and whether the conflict escalates. The US has currently said it is holding back but has military facilities in all six Gulf Arab states, as well as in Syria, Iraq and Jordan, and may get dragged into a region-wide war.
أعلنت كتائب حزب الله العراقية اليوم أن الجماعات المسلحة العراقية قررت استئناف الهجمات ضد القوات الأمريكية في البلاد.
وجاء ذلك بعد تقدم طفيف في المحادثات الرامية إلى تأمين انسحاب القوات الأمريكية خلال الزيارة الأخيرة التي قام بها رئيس الوزراء العراقي محمد السوداني إلى واشنطن، وفقاً لوكالة إيطاليا برس للأنباء.
جدير بالذكر أن كتائب حزب الله تأسست في أعقاب الغزو الذي قادته الولايات المتحدة للعراق عام 2003، وهي إحدى فصائل النخبة المسلحة العراقية الأقرب إلى إيران.
