This video, posted on the official Telegram channel of Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, shows the shocking scene following a Russian missile attack on a shopping mall in Kremenchuk in the Poltava region in central Ukraine at 3.50 pm local time on Monday afternoon.
Zelenskyy wrote, The occupiers fired rockets at the mall, where there were more than a thousand civilians. The mall is on fire, rescuers are fighting the fire, the number of victims is impossible to imagine.
Officials from Ukraine's State Emergency Service said at least two people died and 20 were injured in the attack.

ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Si aggrava il bilancio delle vittime dell’attacco al centro commerciale di Kremenchuk, città dell’oblast di Poltava, nel cuore dell’Ucraina. Secondo quanto comunicato dal Servizio statale ucraino per le emergenze, ci sarebbero 20 morti e 59 feriti. Per il presidente ucraino Volodymyr Zelensky si tratta di “uno degli attacchi terroristici più provocatori della storia europea”. “Una città tranquilla – ha continuato nel suo discorso serale -, un normale centro commerciale con dentro donne, bambini, comuni civili. Prima dell’allarme aereo c’erano circa mille persone. Fortunatamente, per quanto ne sappiamo in questo momento, molte persone sono riuscite a uscire in tempo”, ha aggiunto. Su quanto accaduto a Kremenchuk arriva anche la condanna da parte dei leader del G7, riuniti in Germania: “Condanniamo solennemente l’abominevole attacco a un centro commerciale a Kremenchuk. Siamo uniti all’Ucraina – si legge in una dichiarazione – nel piangere le vittime innocenti di questo brutale attacco. Gli attacchi indiscriminati a civili innocenti costituiscono un crimine di guerra”. L’offensiva nel paese, intanto, continua: la guerra prosegue ormai da 125 giorni. Diventa più pesante anche il bilancio delle vittime tra i bambini: secondo i dati dell’ufficio del procuratore generale dell’Ucraina, dall’inizio del conflitto, nel paese 341 bambini sono morti e almeno 622 sono rimasti feriti.
