Some students exit early as CHP officers in riot gear take down a pro-Palestinian encampment on the UCLA campus was largely cleared by law enforcement officers early Thursday morning Westwood CA/USA.
A dispersal order was issued Wednesday evening and by 3:30 a.m. Thursday, CHP officers in riot gear began advancing on the encampment. They then began dismantling and tearing away pieces of plywood, metal barriers and other items that protesters used to fortify it...The California Highway Patrol said at least 132 people were arrested. They were detained with zip ties. Whether they'll be charged or released is not known.

أخلى ضباط شرطة يرتدون ملابس مكافحة الشغب حرم جامعة كاليفورنيا-لوس أنجلوس، وأزالوا مخيم الطلاب المؤيدين للفلسطينيين واعتقلوا العشرات منهم.
وقال الرئيس الأمريكي جو بايدن إن الناس لها الحق في تلقي التعليم، والحق في الحصول على شهادة جامعية، والحق في المشي عبر الحرم الجامعي بأمان دون خوف من التعرض لهجوم.
وأضاف بايدن: لا ينبغي أن يكون هناك مكان في أي حرم جامعي، في أي مكان في أمريكا، لمعاداة السامية أو التهديد بالعنف ضد الطلاب اليهود. لا يوجد مكان لخطاب الكراهية أو العنف من أي نوع، سواء معاداة السامية أو الإسلاموفوبيا أو التمييز ضد العرب أو الفلسطينيين الأمريكيتين، وفقاً لوكالة إيطاليا برس للأنباء.
